Super Simple

The brief

Develop narrative content to extend the brand beyond the screen and into print media. Started by teachers in Japan, Super Simple has grown into one of the most-watched educational YouTube channels in the world, with 46.2 million subscribers and over 57 billion views. The goal was to leverage the digital presence of this trusted brand into licensed consumer products.

My role

I wrote the Super Fun Activity & Coloring Book and Finny the Shark: School Friends, a storybook retelling centered on one of the brand’s most popular characters. For both products, I developed the narrative framework, adapted the voice of the characters, and wrote packaging copy.
