The brief

Create narrative-driven content that paired storytelling with instructional copy to extend the brand’s reach into new retail categories. Launched in 1998, Tech Deck transformed fingerboards from a niche novelty into a global phenomenon.

My role

I wrote the packaging copy and guidebook text for Shred Zone, a branded activity set. To give the content a fresh editorial angle and tap into the growing STEM market, I built the narrative around “the science of skateboarding” and crafted a voice that was authentic to the brand. I also liaised with the licensing team to secure approvals on copy, layouts, and package design.
